We have a group for moms “Grace Filled Moms” that meets weekly on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. To register please click here and complete the form. Childcare is available. To register for childcare, click here.
If you are interested in participating in a life group for young adults, click here to complete the form registering your interest. Life groups are groups of up to 12 adults that meet off campus for fellowship, study and service. We are going to be starting some new life groups soon.
In January we will offer a class on families for young adults called Future Families. It will meet on Sundays at 11 a.m. starting January 15th. To register click here.

Small Group Bible Studies
We offer some Small Group Bible Studies seasonally in the fall, winter and summer. These Bible studies are usually between 6 and 12 weeks in duration and are offered on campus at different times and days. They are advertised through the church newsletter, website and bulletin inserts. We focus on 4 areas:
- Theology – knowledge of God and the Bible.
- Discipleship – how to live out your Christian faith.
- Piety – how to grow in the application of your faith.
- Mercy – how to live out your faith through service.

107A: Ongoing Men’s Discussion Group — Join Pastor Kyle on Monday nights at 6:30 p.m. for discussion of the past Sunday’s sermon and the Scripture for the upcoming week. Room 302 in the white building (300) located behind Hammill Hall.
107B: “So Now What?”
Wednesdays, 10 – 11:30 a.m. starting January 4, ongoing.

Come and be a part of this women’s group where we will revisit the previous Sunday’s message. We will discuss the main points of the sermon and how to apply them to our lives. No cost.
123: First Place 4 Health: A New Beginning
Wednesdays, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. starting Wednesday January 18.
Facilitator: Lara Hall
A New Beginning will help you explore 10 key scriptural principles to help you stand strong in your commitment to live the life God is calling you to live—a life of obedience, balance and victory!
This First Place 4 Health Bible study contains 12 weeks of daily studies to help you put Christ in first place, as well as weekly Live It Trackers to document your progress. Also included are Scripture memory cards, a coordinating Scripture memory music CD, and two complete weeks of menu plans with grocery lists, recipes and detailed nutrition information. Cost $20.00 for book with CD.
122: Grace-Filled Mom’s Group — Thursdays 10 a.m. to Noon (ongoing) Join this group of mothers for a Bible study, discussion and fellowship. Currently studying “Tune In” by Jen Hatmaker.
147: Tune In – Tuesdays at 7 p.m. starting January 17. A 5-week study for women. Can’t hear God though the cell phone, the kids, and the endless static of life? Discover over 20 ways God speaks to us, and learn to “tune in” to the power of divine conversation. Cost: $11 for the book.
205: What If Jesus Really Meant What He Said? Conversation with Pastor Shane. Wednesdays 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. starting January 18. Join Pastor Shane for a series of informal conversations on the joys and challenges of living a Christian lifestyle. This class will use the book Red Letter Revolution by Shane Claiborne and Tony Campolo. Purchase your book from your favorite bookstore or Amazon.com and begin reading now before the first gathering on January 18th.
206: FUTURE FAMILY
Sundays at 11 a.m. starting January 15th for 6 weeks. Facilitators: John and Amy Henson
Family. We all have one. And, we often want our Future Family to be a step up from our families of origin. When it comes to family, what does your preferred future look like? Whether you’re starting a family, raising a family, or wondering if family’s worth the effort, this 6-part study provides direction and hope. No book required.
204A: COVENANT BIBLE STUDY: CREATING THE COVENANT
Wednesdays 6:30 to 8 p.m., starting January 18th or Sundays, 5 to 6:30 p.m. starting January 22nd

The Covenant experience will guide you in a comprehensive, in-depth study of the whole Bible which emphasizes the biblical concept of covenant as a unifying pattern through the books of the Old and New Testaments. This first study, Creating the Covenant, explores how a biblical covenant is created and established and highlights foundational aspects of Christian belief and practice.
Cost: $20 for Creating the Covenant or $50 for complete kit of 3 studies (Creating, Living and Trusting the
Covenant). Optional book of Meditations for $10.
YOUTH BIBLE STUDY: RENEGADE GOSPEL, THE REBEL JESUS
Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. starting January 18th for 6 weeks.
Who was Jesus, really? Wasn’t the central figure to the Christian faith a man who denied all preconceived notions about what God should look like? Wouldn’t associating with him have meant joining a rebel movement? Doesn’t it still? Renegade Gospel is a church study that challenges believers to come to terms with the real Jesus—the rebel Jesus. $10 for book (youth edition)
Music appreciation class (beginners) Wednesdays 10 to 11:30 a.m. starting January 18th Facilitator: Quintessa Harper A six week small group study for adults, each class will begin with a short devotional, followed by lessons on basic music theory concepts and of course singing (a little) in a light-hearted and fun atmosphere. You will hopefully gain an appreciation for different styles of sacred/ Christian music and gain knowledge of musical notation in a light-hearted and fun atmosphere. No cost.
Music appreciation class (intermediate) Thursdays 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. starting January 19th Facilitator: Quintessa Harper A six week small group follow up study for those interested in learning music theory at an intermediate level. There will be a devotion and some singing at each class. It is preferable that participants will have already attended the Beginner’s Music Appreciation Class. No cost.
FOUNDATIONS CLASS FOR NEWCOMERS AND THOSE INTERESTED IN MEMBERSHIP
Sundays at 9:45 a.m. for 5 consecutive weeks, starting January 15. Room 100, Plummer Ed. Center.
If you are new to Harrison Church or considering becoming a member, join us for this 5 week class. You will learn about our church, our beliefs and history, as well as the ministries and discipleship opportunities available at the church. Meet other newcomers, ministry leaders and the pastors.
