We hope that you are enjoying your time at Harrison Church. We want to make you feel at home here and part of feeling at home is connecting with others.
We offer a newcomers / pre-membership class, called Foundations, several times during the year. The class is offered on different days and times, so we hope that one of the offerings will fit your schedule.
Our next class will begin on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 9:45 a.m. in room 100 of the Plummer Education Center, building 100. The class will run for 5 consecutive Sundays.
This class provides information about our beliefs, ministries and groups and is a great way to meet other newcomers, the ministry leaders and our pastors. To register for the Foundations Classes, click here. For more information, contact Anita King.
Other Connection opportunities:
Gentlemen, you are invited to the Men’s Breakfast, which takes place every 3rd Saturday at 7:30 a.m. in the Plummer Education Building (100) in room 101. You can also join the year-round men’s sermon discussion group, that meets on Monday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the library, or the Band of Brothers, that meets on Mondays at 7:00 a.m. at Big View Diner.
Ladies, you are invited to join the Friendship Circle which meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 10 a.m. We also have monthly luncheons on the 3rd Thursday of each month at noon in room 101 of the Administration & Education building – there is no cost and everyone is welcome. Other opportunities for women include our one-day retreat (on campus), our girlfriends’ night out and our weekend retreat (off campus). You can find more details in our monthly Spice newsletter, located under the News and Events tab.
Families with children – We have several family-oriented events throughout the year such as Trunk or Treat, Family Picnics and PJ Pancake Suppers. Our new playground is a wonderful place to gather after church services (weather permitting) and during the week.
