Hurricane Harvey hit the Gulf Coast of the U.S. August 26 affecting millions of people with multiple days of heavy rain, winds, and rising tides. The United Methodist Church is actively present, working with local and state emergency management, FEMA, and other volunteers active in disaster. The Western North Carolina Committee on Relief encourages you to:

Other Donations: Harrison Church will be a drop off point for Flood Buckets (cleaning kits) and Hygiene Kits.
You can drop off your donation at the church during regular office hours (Mon – Thurs 9 to 5) or bring it with you on Sunday morning.
You can assemble a complete kit or bring the components. Here are the links for the instructions on what goes into each kit and a video on how to assemble the kits. There are printed copies in the reception of the Plummer building.
