This great small group is designed to help us become better stewards of the many blessings God has bestowed upon us. It is a 10-week small group study that includes prayer, Bible verse memorization, some study and reading, and the budgeting process. With great group discussion, the participants encourage one another to be good stewards, to truly understand that all we own belongs to God and that we are entrusted to take care of these blessings. The study encourages smart spending, debt-reduction (or elimination) and good stewardship.
Although the class is about how to manage our money, it is completely bibilicaly based. Each week, participants memorize a Bible verse. Each class begins and ends with prayer…on our knees! It is so freeing to learn that all our blessings not only come from God, but belong to Him! That truly draws us closer to God.
This ministry is open to all adults. We especially encourage lay leaders to take the class. Occasionally, the class is offered to college students to learn how to manage their money as they leave home for college.
This small group study will be offered on Wednesday evenings this fall, starting September 14, 2011. The cost of the class is $55 for a couple or $45 for an individual.
