WHAT IS STEPHEN MINISTRY?
Stephen Ministry is a lay ministry designed to give one-to-one confidential care when someone is hurting or in crisis. Designed to support the pastors of the church, Stephen Ministers are trained to listen, care and pray for those who are broken, grieving, or in crisis. It gives those in need of care a safe, confidential and non-judgmental place to share their burdens at a once per week caring visit.
WHO DOES STEPHEN MINISTRY SERVE?
Stephen Ministry serves all who need someone to walk alongside them when they are in a tough place.
WHERE AND HOW DOES STEPHEN MINISTRY SERVE?
Stephen Ministry serves anyone who is in need. The Stephen Ministers meet with the care receiver in a place that feels safe to the one in need as well as the Stephen Minister.
WHEN DOES STEPHEN MINISTRY MEET?
When there is a need is when we serve. Every two to three years we will have a training to groom new Stephen Ministers.
