English as a Second Language (ESL)

Harrison Church ESL (English as a Second Language) classes help newcomers to the United States learn to speak and understand the English language and American cultural expressions. We offer five proficiency levels to improve vocabulary and conversational skills. Classes meet September through May.

Classes will begin the week of September 9th.
The class fee is $45. Fee can be paid by check or cash.
Childcare is available for an additional fee for morning classes.
Classes will be held at the church in the Administration & Education Building.
Class sizes are limited. There may be a waitlist if classes become full.
A 30 minute conversation class is offered on Thursday mornings at 9:00am. All students may attend this class.

How to Sign-up Online:
To register for a class, click on the button below. After you complete the registration form, you will receive a link to the class placement test. The test should take less than 25 minutes to take. In order to be placed in a class, you must complete the placement test by September 3rd. Students who do not complete the placement test, will NOT be registered for a class.

How to Sign-up In-Person: In-Person registration will be held September 3 and 4, 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:30pm-8:30pm at the church. You will complete the registration form and the placement test.

Book Pickup: You will be able to pay and pick-up your books on September 3 and 4, 10:00am-12:00pm and 6:30pm-8:30pm at the church. $45 cash or check only.
