Unlikely Advent - Intergenerational Group Study

Sundays at 10AM

This Advent, we’ll explore the unexpected ways God’s story unfolds, inspired by Rachel Billups’ Unlikely Advent. Through unconventional characters and surprising moments surrounding Christ’s birth, we’ll see how God uses the unexpected to fulfill His greatest plans.

Join us as we discover how these ancient stories offer hope and remind us that God often works through ordinary people and situations to do extraordinary things.

People Enjoying People (PEP)

People Enjoying People is our senior adult group that comes together for fellowship, fun, and connection. Whether it’s gathering for lunches, enjoying organized outings around town, or embarking on overnight trips beyond the area, this group is all about building relationships and sharing joyful experiences.

Join us for a trip to the Schiele Museum on Thursday, November 14, 2024 10:30 am – 4:30 pm.  Cost is $25, covering admission and two planetarium shows. Register now!

Join us for a 2-night, 3-day trip to Myrtle Beach, December 9-11! The trip includes stays at the Beach Cove Resort and tickets to the Alabama Theater and Carolina Opry Christmas shows. Costs range from $265-$365 per person. Register now!

Join us on January 23rd for an Organ Recital and lunch at Calvary Church. The cost is $10, covering both the recital and lunch.  Register now!

Senior Adult Discussion Sunday School Class

This senior adult small group uses a United Methodist curriculum for lessons and discussion, and provides ​prayer, fellowship, and support.

This group is adult friendly. Grow Groups for grandchildren and youth offered during the same time.

Mom’s Group

Thursday 10:00am

Facilitators: Laurie Spinelli

Meeting Location: Church Library

Grow in your faith through Bible study and small group discussion with a great group of moms.

This group also organizes fellowship and service events from time to time. Women of all ages and stages ​are invited.
