Toy Drive Online Purchases Due: Nov 30th
Senior Gift Card Drop-off: Oct 30th at Movie Night, or Sunday Services on Nov 15th and Nov 22nd.
The pandemic has brought changes to the Angel Tree program this year. Harrison Church will not be collecting toys this year, but we are still committed to helping children and seniors in need in our community. Read on for how you can help!
FOR CHILDREN: Salvation Army Magical Toy Drive
Salvation Army has partnered with YouGiveGoods.com to ensure that children in poverty aged infant to 12 receive a gift for Christmas this year despite the pandemic.
HOW DOES IT WORK? Click the link below and select one or more of the items listed - the price range is $13.99-$28.99. You pay for the items online, YouGiveGoods purchases the items and delivers to the Salvation Army. All items must be purchased online by Nov 30th, 2020.
If you purchase one or more items through the Magical Toy Drive, please email Patsy Sheppard at firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know. (We do not need to know the amount spent, but would like to be able to report on Harrison's participation levels.) Bikes will not be included in the Salvation Army program this year.
FOR SENIORS: Gift cards ONLY this year!
Because of the older population's medical vulnerability, the Salvation Army is only distributing gift cards to senior recipients this year.
Please purchase one or more $25 Wal-Mart, Target, or VISA/MasterCard gift cards if you would like to help. All donated gift cards will be delivered together to the Salvation Army.
Gift cards can be dropped off at the sign-in table on Oct 30th (Movie Night at 6:30 pm) or before/after Sunday service on Nov 15th or Nov 22nd.
If none of these drop-off times work for you, please contact Renee Moses at email@example.com.
