Harrison Church has an active and thriving youth community. Our youth ministry seeks to journey with youth in their walk with Jesus Christ and to guide them in being a long-life disciple of Jesus Christ.

6th-12th graders are invited to join us on Sunday nights (September-May) for Youth Group from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. We meet in the Multi-Purpose Room in the Administrative and Education Building where we worship together, have announcements, play games, fellowship, small groups, and share a snack together. All 6th-12th graders are welcome whether or not your family attends worship services at Harrison Church.
Eighth Grade Confirmation
The eighth-grade confirmation class meets in Confirmation Classroom in the Administrative and Education Building at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm each Sunday starting on December 1, 2019. They are engaged in a confirmation study that focuses on our history and heritage as United Methodists, what it means to be a Christian and a United Methodist, and living as a disciple in our world. Confirmation starts in December and finishes in May.
Each February, 6th-12th graders have the opportunity to join us as we travel to Winterplace Ski Resort in West Virginia. This retreat is a time to connect with one another, ski or tube together, and participate in a theme for the weekend that focuses on what it means to walk with Christ as a teen.
Summer Mission Trip
During the summer we offer an opportunity for 6th-12th graders to travel to an area where we can serve others in various ways. Whether it is working with urban ministries in a large city, repairing homes in rural areas or even traveling to a different country, we offer ways in which teens can be the hands and feet of Christ.
High School Beach Retreat
Students in ninth through twelfth grade are invited to join us as we travel to the coast for an extended weekend. We take time to relax and hang out together as well as continue our in-depth discussions of life as a Christian teen.
